Benefit Fine One One

I'm a lover of Benefit and a lover of cream blushers so when I saw Benefit where launching Fine One One I knew this was a product I had to have!

So Today I picked one up on my trip to town and I was not disappointed!

Benefit Fine One One

First of all I'm not normally a lover of packaging and usually throw it all away but the box for this is beautiful. It's very art deco and reminds me of advertising from the 1920's.

Fine One One is a stick cream blush with a twist bottom to push the product up. In a beautiful dusky rose mirrored tube.

The blush itself is made up of three colours:
- Pink champagne - An illuminating highlighter
- Sheer watermelon - A pinky colour
- Soft Coral - A soft peach

The product itself is about 2 inches long and is the perfect size for applying straight to your cheeks. With Fine One One it is easy to handle. It fits into the palm of your hand with ease.

Its perfectly sized to pop into your handbag so you can use it on the go.

Swatched from the tube

Applying the product couldn't be simpler, you just glide he product from the apples of your cheek up to your temples. With the pick champagne colour on top of the cheek an d the soft coral at the bottom. Then blend in with your fingers. I have tried blending with a stippling brush but I personally prefer the results when its blended in with my fingers. Which is the only downside to the product for me as I have huge issues with using my fingers when doing my make up.

blended with fingers.

Fine One One looks beautiful once its on, it leaves the skin with a beautiful pop of colour and creates instant shape to your cheeks. The colour is quite sheer but you can build it up. The main thing I love is some cream blushes I've used I've found them to be a bit greasy looking, Fine One One is very matte with a slight sheen to it. It blends into a powder.

You can also use this on your lips which is a bonus. The watermelon makes a beautiful lip colour.

In all I do love this and think it is a product I wont regret purchasing. For £23.50 it is a little steep but I personally find that blushes last much longer than any other make up products (except lipsticks they go on forever!) so I don't mind splurging a little on them. For your money you get 8 grams of product, which is about average for a Benefit blush.

You can purchase Benefit from most Debenhams, House of Fraser and selected Boots beauty halls. Or you can pick on up on line Here

Have you used Fine One One? What do you think? What cream blushes do you like? Let me know!

Hask goodie box and Argan Oil Intense deep Conditioning Hair Treatment

This morning I received a goodie box from the lovely Andrea at Hask hair. It was full of goodies which I'll be telling you about as I try them out.

Today I treated myself to a nice relaxing bath with 10 minutes to de areas with a hair mask and a face mask.

I chose Hask's Argan Oil Intense deep conditioning hair treatment. I love using Argan oil on my hair as a finishing product or before blow drying.

My hair is colour treated and the ends are dry and damaged from previously being bleached and dip dyed. So deep conditioning treatments are always welcomed by my hair.

The treatment Claims it strengthens, restores and smooths dry, damaged hair. To use it you just apply a nice amount to wet hair and leave for 10 mins. I slapped on a face mask and laid in the bubbles while the world went by me.

I was very impressed with this treatment even when my hair was wet it was much more manageable than normal. My hair is so shiney and incredibly soft. It also just looks healthier and has some lustre back.

I finished my hair off with a few drops of Hask's Argan Oil and this has increased the shine on my hair. These products together have also worked quite like a detangler my hair normally quite hard to keep from matting but since straightening my hair as normal it hasn't matted together once.

I can't wait to try out the other products I have and tell you all about them.

Have you used any Hask products? Or any hair treatments that are good? Let me know!

SuperDrug Colour Vibrance

I've been trying to find a nice purple coloured hair dye for a while. There are a few brands I stay away from and a few I've tried a few times but for whatever reasons have disliked. So I decided to go with Superdrugs own brand colour Vibrance hair dye in cosmic purple.

I love Superdrugs own brand products as they are all cruelty free and I'm an animal lover and do try my hardest to use as many cruelty free brands as I possibly can.

The purple colour is quite dark on me (my natural hair colour is dark brown) but it is a beautiful shiney purpley colour on me.

The kit comes with everything you need and a generous sized conditioner tube. Nothing worse than a hair dye with a tiny amount of conditioner especially if like me you have fairly thick hair or hair longer than shoulder length. My hair falls to the top of my bra clasp and one bottle is more than enough to cover everything and when I purchased them they were 2 for £4.99 which was a bargain! So I think I've finally found the hair dye I'm going to stick with!

What hair dyes do you use? Let me know!

MUA Pro Base Conceal and Brighten Palette

So I'm back after the Christmas break! Hope everyone had an indulgent Christmas and a great New year and got incredibly spoiled! I know I did.

So jumping straight in I was wondering around the shops with my boyfriend when I discovered their Pro-base conceal and brighten kit and thought hold up MUA are very good at telling people they have new stuff so whats going on here! I had to grab it.

The basics, this is a concealer and highlighter kit. Theres 2 concealers a nice peachy toned and a yellow toned. My kit is in porcelain - beige which is the palest they do and its a good match for me. The concealers are nice and creamy and the formula is very similar to Benefits Boi - ing.

I've used these alot since buying it Sunday and the coverage is very good. I use the peachy toned under my eyes to conceal any dark circles and use just a little of the yellow toned in the inner corner to brighten my eyes. The yellow toned I use to hide a few key areas (redness around the nose and few small patches of uneven skin tone) I find this lasts all day and sits well. I don't find any of that annoying sinks into your pores look that some concealers have. Even though the coverage is medium to full I don't find it sits heavy on my skin.  Also there's minimal creasing under the eyes. Wearing concealer all day around that area I'm not to bothered if there's some creasing unfortunately there's going to be creasing but its nothing a quick blend with a finger isn't going to sort out.

The texture is great it isn't one of those concealers that doesn't let you blend well. It glides on nicely and has a formula that you can build up.

I apply to the skin with my fingers then blend in with my real techniques pointed foundation brush. As I write this I've had this on since around 12pm (Last friday before going back to uni decided to be naughty and a little lazy) and I still have good coverage.

The highlighter is a beautiful shimmery pink colour. Which catches the light nicely. I use this on my cheek bones and brow bones. It looks quite dewy but when blended is fairly matte. It sits nicely on the skin as well. Its a similar shade as Benefits Watts up (Which is my fave cream highlighter) So this is a nice dupe of that.

The kit comes in a nice easy to handle palette, it will slip into a hand bag easily for touch ups on the go. Only downside is there isn't a mirror but I'm guessing most of us have a little mirror compact anyway i know I have one stowed in my bag. Plus for £3.50 you really can't grumble.

So well done MUA another great product which I'm going to be loving!

Have you managed to spy one of these? Whats your fave concealer? Let me know!

You can pick this up in selected Superdrug stores or online Here
